Let me start by saying that I (USED TO) HATE DRESSES! I have extremely white legs (and trust me, I have tried tanning before) and for some reason the dresses I had tried in the past were not figure flattering. Lately, however, I have been re-discovering the love that I used to have for dresses when I was younger; they are super comfortable, lightweight, and very girly.
Yesterday, my boyfriend's niece got married and I wanted to look cute and "different." While shopping for dresses, I had a difficult time finding something that hid my problem areas and that was cute and comfortable. When I saw this dress, it did not appeal to me; however, my mom forced me to try it and I LOVED IT! (moms know best, right?) It has pockets, it is lace (as many of you know, I'm a lace lover lol), the pockets are a very nice touch and they allow me to hide my lipgloss and utilize it whenever I need it, the cut flatters my "cleavage" area and paired with this shrug it made the perfect outfit.
As I was getting ready to head out the day of the event my mom forced me to try adding an extra accessory to the dress to make it pop and I really liked how it looked so I kept it. I paired the dress with forever 21 tri-color bracelets and an Aldo bag/clutch that I ADORE!
Overall, it was a very fun night!

Dejenme empezar por decirles que ODIABA LOS VESTIDOS! Tengo las piernas super blancas (y eso que he tratado de broncearme) y los vestidos que me había probado en el pasado no "funcionaban" con mi cuerpo. Sin embargo, hace poco empece a re-descubrir el amor que le tenia a los vestidos cuando era mas chica ya que son súper cómodos, ligeros, y súper chic.
Ayer se caso la sobrina de mi novio y queria verme super bien y diferente, ya que por lo general uso siempre pantalon. Mientras buscaba el vestido adecuado para la ocasión, me costo un poco de trabajo encontrar uno que resaltara mis "mejores" áreas y que escondiera las que no me gustaban. Cuando mire este vestido la verdad no me llamo la atención, pero mi mama (como cuando era niña) me forzó a medirmelo y que bueno por que me encanto. Ame el detalle de los bolsillos en el vestido, el tono metálico y, combinado con el torero, me cubría y resaltaba lo mejor de mi.
El dia del evento mi mama me sugirió agregarle el accesorio (que ven abajo) al vestido y creo que efectivamente le dio un toque diferente. También decidí agregarle unas pulseras tricolor de F21, una bolsa con "picos" de Aldo, y un collar que compre hace mil años jeje. En conclusión fue un día muy divertido y me la pase genial!
