After turning twenty-one, every year after that becomes less and less fun, or so i thought. I felt like I had nothing to look forward to. When you are young you wait to turn fifteen to have a quinceañera, sixteen to drive and get a license, eighteen to be able to have more freedom and twenty-one to be more independent, drink (maybe?) and go clubbing; however, since I'm very well over twenty-one, this year I was determined to make my birthday a little more interesting. I pampered myself since March 1st and I purchased some things for myself, which you saw on my previous haul. The day prior to my B-day, my friends surprised me with an unexpected get-together. The next day, on my birth-day, I went to eat with my family, and the following day I went out with my boyfriend. What else could I have asked for? Sometimes school, work, and other obligations make you forget that we also need to make time to be with our loved ones and my birthday definitively fulfilled that need and changed my perspective on my birthday. Now, I see my birthday as the opportunity to force myself to get a break from all of those obligations that makes us dichotomize ourselves and that, in a way, rob us from spending time with ourselves and our loved ones.
Below, I share the outfit I wore to go out with my boyfriend. I wanted to wear black pants, but I have no idea where they are. Although I feel that denim takes a little away from the overall look, the Source of Wisdom pants are THE BEST. They are comfortable and form fitting. I have approximately three pairs of the same style. One of the things that I love about them is that they come in Short, Tall, and Regular. I'm short and I hate having to do extra work to make them fit.
I also wore my new Forever 21 top and I loved it as well. I really like how it looks on me; however, I would not wear it with the blazer closed because the blazer "moved," and made it seem as if my top was crooked, something that annoyed me a lot throughout the day. But, I do love the top and I cannot wait to get my hands on the green and black!
The black blazer is one of my favorite pieces. I love lace and I love black blazers; therefore, this blazer is the perfect combination. By the way, the day that my friends visited, we also went to a beauty salon and I got my eyebrows done. Can you tell the difference? I really did miss my thin eyebrows.

Después de pasar los 21 años, los cumple años se vuelven menos emocionantes, o amenos eso pensaba. Asi que este año decidí consentirme mucho y empece a festejar desde el inicio de Marzo. Al fin y al cavo, vida solo hay una, no? Como vieron en el post anterior, un día antes de mi cumple años mis amigas me festejaron en la casa. El día de mi cumple fui a comer con mi familia y el día siguiente salí con mi novio. De verdad que ame pasar tiempo con mis amigos y familiares ya que la escuela y el trabajo te alejan un poco de esas personas que te hacen sentir humana de nuevo.
Abajo les comparto mi outfit para ir al cine. Y si, efectivamente use los pantalones de Source of Wisdom de nuevo. La verdad son SUPER cómodos y tengo tres pares de ellos, ya que son mis favoritos. Una cosa que me encanta es que vienen en medida baja, regular, y alta ya que a la mayoría de mis pantalones les tengo que meter la bastilla para que queden a mi medida. Sin duda, son unos pantalones muy recomendables.
También estrene mi blusa de Forever 21 que miraron en mi reciente Haul. Me encanto el color y me gusta como se me ve; sin embargo, no creo volver a usarla con un saco, o amenos no con el saco cerrado, ya que da el efecto de que el saco o la blusa esta chueca y me lo tuve que acomodar mucho durante el dia. Pero en si, ame esta blusa. Espero que pronto vuelvan a estar a la venta y pueda comprar la verde y la negra.
El blazer es mi prenda favorita de el momento. Amo el encaje y amo los sacos negros así que este saco es mi favorito de todos los tiempos ya que reúne los dos jeje Y por cierto, el dia que me visitaron mis amigas tambien fuimos al salon de belleza y me "saque" las cejas. Se nota la diferencia? Yo ya extrañaba mis cejas delgadas.
