Polkadots and Lace (Moda para Gorditas: Encaje y Lunares)

This polkadots and lace outfit has been one of my go-to outfits for casual days. I think it is simple, cute, and comfortable. If I know I will be walking a lot, I just add a pair of flats and voila! I'm ready to head out. By the way, I'm aware that I have worn the same heels in the last outfits, but they are truly amazing. They are comfortable and the right heigh for me. If I love something, I wear it as often as I can.

Este atuendo de lunares con encaje ha sido uno de mis mas usados para los dias casuales. Pienso que es simple, bonito, y comodo. Si se que voy a caminar mucho, solo agrego unas ballerinas (flats) y Voila! ya estoy lista pasa salir. Por cierto, estoy consiente que he utilizado las mismas zapatillas en los últimos dos atuendos, pero cuando algo me gusta lo utilizo hasta mas no poder.

A Fun Blazer for a Casual Outfit (Un Saco Divertido Para un Atuendo Sencillo)

A fun print on a blazer, like the floral one I'm wearing here, can transform any boring outfit into an interesting one. Here, I'm wearing a simple black t-shirt with basic jeans. By adding this blazer and using a pair of nice and low heels, I transformed it into a fun outfit, perfect to go out with your girl friends or boyfriend.

Un saco con imprenta divertida, como el saco floral que tengo aqui, puede transformar cualquier atuendo aburrido en uno divertido. Aquí estoy usando una playera negra básica con jeans. Al agregar el saco, y al ponerme unas zapatillas en vez de flats o tenis, el atuendo se combierte en algo divertido que se puede usar para salir con tus amigos o tu novio.

How to Wear Stripes (Como Vestir Con Rayas Si Eres Gordita)

Stripes can be a little intimidating for some of us, especially if you are plus-size. For centuries, people have said that stripes make you look bigger. The truth is that stripes can be worn by anyone. You just need to make it work for you! 

In this outfit, I wore one of my favorite blazers from... I'll let you guess...  Yes, from Torrid. In order to break the stripes a little, I decided to wear it open. I can wear it closed too; however, some pieces can indeed make you look bigger. It all depends on the cut, style, and fabric. So, beware of that. 

The peplum top is one of my favorite pieces, mainly because it is lace. I added red bottoms to make the outfit pop. For accessories, I decided to go with gold since the hardware of the Just Fab purse is also gold. By the way, that purse is my favorite bags of the moment. Isn't it cute? The shoes and the necklace are also my favorite items of the month. I have been wearing them quite often!

Vestir con rayas puede ser un poco intimidante, especialmente si eres gordita, ya que por muchos años se ha dicho que las rayas te hacen ver mas grande. La verdad es que pueden ser usadas por todos. Solo

tienes que hacer que las prendas con rayas trabajen a tu favor! 

En este atuendo utilize uno de mis sacos favorites de.... adivinen... Si, de Torrid. Para "romper" un

poco la fluidez de las rayas, decidi utilizarla abierta. Tambien la puedo usar cerrada; sin embargo, en algunas piezas eso puede hacer que si te veas mas grande/gordita. Mucho tiene que ver el corte y tipo de tela de la prenda, a si que esten concientes de eso cuando escojan prendas con rayas. 

La blusa peplum es una de mis piezas favoritas, mas que nada por que es de encaje. Le agregue unos pantalones color rojo para hacer que el atuendo tuviera un "pop" de color. De accesorios decidi agregarlos en tonos oro ya que la bolsa de Just Fab tiene toques dorados tambien. Por cierto, esa bolsa es una de mis favoritas del momento. Apoco no esta super linda? Los zapatos y el collar tambien son uno de mis favoritos del mes. Los he estado usando bastante.
